Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee procurement, accounts payable, and inventory operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost control across the supply chain. This role combines process ownership with leadership responsibilities, including team guidance, supplier relationship management, and driving strategic improvements.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

Purchase Order (PO) Management & Supplier Portals

  • Lead PO management across Boeing TMX, BDSI, BASN, and other portals.
  • Drive annual pricing updates and ensure compliance with contracts.
  • Resolve escalated certification and material issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Oversee action messages (Postpone, Advance, Cancel) to optimize scheduling and supply flow.
  • Direct supplier management activities, including oversight of Cadworks PM tasks.

Accounts Payable (AP) Management

  • Supervise ledger activities, invoice processing, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure adherence to spend limitations and budgetary targets.
  • Resolve supplier credit holds and implement process improvements in AP workflows.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee TATS inventory lifecycle: expiration monitoring, reordering, and purging of obsolete stock.
  • Direct raw material strategies, including mill runs, cost reduction initiatives, and gap purchasing.
  • Manage cycle count programs and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Mitigate risks associated with excess or no-demand materials.

Leadership & Strategic Oversight

  • Provide mentorship, training, and performance oversight to supply chain staff.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and quality teams.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and competitiveness.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employees are responsible for the quality of their work and implementation of the Quality Policy.
  • Ensure that document and digital data control is in compliance with AS9100 guidelines.
  • Has authority to stop any production order for quality concerns.
  • Consistently provides professional business communication to internal & external customers and peers
  • Strives to consistently act in accordance with normal business professionalism principles during all company events, including meetings, off-site supplier visits, audits, etc.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM)/ Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Preferred
  • 5–7+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and supplier portals (Boeing TMX, BDSI, BASN).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record in cost reduction, supplier management, and inventory optimization.
