Overview

The FP&A Analyst will report to the FP&A Manager and work closely with other Senior Managers across the company supporting core FP&A processes while providing strategic and analytical insights.  Key responsibilities include cost roll ups, financial forecasting, KPI analysis, and financial reporting. This role requires collaboration across the business in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and report on key financial and operational metrics via dashboards, forecasts, and presentations in collaboration with managers across the business.
  • Complete monthly reporting packages for review with all of management.
  • Assist in developing detailed, bottoms-up budgets and forecasts for short- and long-term strategic planning.
  • Assist with the maintenance of a 13-week cash flow forecast.
  • Provide data-driven insights on cost, productivity and other production metrics.
  • Analyze cash flow, product cost and expenses, working with leadership to identify and implement improvements.
  • Investigate financial and operational performance variances, assisting leaders in corrective actions.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, preferably in a high-growth, manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to model and synthesize complex financial, operational, and KPI data into clear presentations.

Good knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing cost accounting
